Shirataki Daimyojin is an area of nature worship and is the only spot in Iseshima where you can experience waterfall meditation and other ritual acts.
The entire mountain contains a deity, and is said to be beneficial for a good harvest, safety at sea, and safety in the home.
Along the way, there is a Mikasa mound, which is said to bring good luck in love.
You can also experience a misogi waterfall purification ceremony. (White robes are available for rent.)
A guide will take you to the waterfall and give you a lecture on waterfall rituals.
Restrooms, lockers, and hair dryers are provided so that women can experience waterfall rituals without worry.
