かつおの天ぱく「鰹いぶし小屋」 Katsuo no Tenpaku "Katsuo Ibushi Goya"
Experiencing the ancient "Tebiyama method" of making katsuobushi (dried bonito)
At Tenpaku, the katsuo-smoking hut that remains at the tip of Daiozaki, smoke continues to billow as the ancient method of using ubame oak charcoal continues to be used to smoke Kiwametsuke Katsuobushi dried bonito and Ise Nakiribushi. (It is also fun to tour the Katsuo Ibushi Goya shack.)
