A Historic Inn Preserving the Atmosphere of Taisho and Showa Eras in Ise’s Kawasaki District
Established in 1926, Hoshidekan is housed in a Taisho-era building that exudes a charming retro ambiance, appealing to guests seeking a nostalgic and unique experience. Located in Kawazaki, once known as the “Kitchen of Ise,” the inn provides an excellent base for exploring the historic streets of the area.
Guests can choose between room-only stays or a plan with breakfast included. Meals are available by reservation and can accommodate special dietary needs, including macrobiotic, grain-based dishes, and other restricted diets.
Facilities include free parking for up to 7 cars, wireless LAN in all rooms, and shared baths, restrooms, and washrooms. All restrooms are Western-style with washlets, separated by gender on each floor.
Next to the inn is the Ise Shokuyo Center, which sells safe, additive-free seasonings—well worth a visit during your stay.
