Famous as the Venue for the G7 Ise-Shima Summit 2016

Significant renovations were made to enhance Shima Kanko Hotel The Classic, including updates to the lobby, guest rooms, and the main dining area, as well as the addition of a guest lounge.

Adjacent to the hotel, Shima Kanko Hotel The Bay Suite also underwent renovations, including updates to its entrance lobby. Additionally, the hotel has repurposed its original building into "The Club," a facility featuring a restaurant, meeting rooms, and more.

Previously known as Shima Kanko Hotel Classic, the hotel was renamed Shima Kanko Hotel The Classic and reopened after renovations on June 7, 2016.
