古民家 海女の家 五左屋 Kominka Ama’s House Goza-ya
Doman Seiman Select Shop & Relaxation Salon
Located along the path to Ishigami-san Shrine, this renovated traditional house serves as both a shop and a rest area. The shop offers a variety of items that capture the essence of Osatsu, including Doman Seiman-themed goods—symbols often used by ama divers for protection and safety—ocean-inspired products, specialty items packed with Toba’s natural blessings, and a collaboration with Kyoto’s famed incense maker Shoei-do to create original Toba incense.
The relaxation corner, Ama Salon, features the Ocean Library, which houses books, picture books, and photo collections about the sea and ama divers. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and immerse yourself in the world of the ocean.
Visitors are welcome to bring food and drinks purchased from the adjacent cafe, Osatsu Kitchen 0032, into the relaxation corner for a leisurely break.
